The 9 rooms are spacious and well furnished with large beds (2 king-beds & 7 twin-beds), spring mattresses and premium cotton linen. Duvets are provided in all rooms. The twin-beds have been designed so that they can be joined together to form a gap-free king-size double bed (on request).
Bedside wall lamps are provided for guests who like to read in bed. All rooms come with individually remote-controlled air-conditioning. Where guests do not want air-conditioning, they are welcome to keep the windows open for fresh air. Mosquito net panels are fixed to all windows as a measure of protection.
All rooms are non-smoking. Back-up power is available in all rooms - but restricted to one fan and one light only. Direct-to-home satellite television from Tata Sky with over 70 channels are offered in all rooms. There is a tea/coffee maker with sachets and tea bags for your convenience, and free WiFi internet connectivity. A collection of daily newspapers are available in the lounge and dining area.
Most rooms have large prints with embedded leaves on the wall - this is a technique invented in the Auroville commune (near Pondicherry) using handmade recycled paper and dried leaves from indigenous trees.
Artwork displayed on the wall above the desks are original drawings by Bruce Peck depicting colonial buildings and street life from Chennai. Ensuite bathrooms are western-style with showers and hot & cold running water.
